My passion is to fully equip and teach my students to achieve a level 7 (grade A) or above, irrespective of their target levels; notably a significant number achieving level 9s. I have a proven track record with dyslexic students, who achieve very high levels in GCSE Language and Literature. I want to help my students reach their true potential and enhance their relationship with English and exams in general.
I facilitate English tuition groups and online masterclasses. My sessions are designed to accelerate achievement in each component of the GCSE Literature and Language papers. During these sessions I guide students through the paper and instruct them clearly on how to achieve a top grade. Suitable for year 11 students, confident year 10 students.
I offer highly effective study materials, which compliment each Literature and Language component; alongside video tutorials. This enables students to revise in the most effective manner and ensures that students perform well in school assessments and final exams. Using my expertise as a very experienced Examiner, I train departments on how to teach students the GCSE syllabus in order to achieve a high success rate.
I am an Oxbridge educated, highly experienced English tutor. I have taught in Secondary schools for many years and I am also an Examiner for GCSE English Literature and Language. I train teachers on how best to teach the new GCSE Literature and Language specifications. I hold a Post-Grad research qualification (PGDip)in ‘Effective Pedagogy’ from UCL and an English (BA) from Cambridge.
